Strategic visioning coming to the libraries

The Garfield County Libraries recently hired JVA Consulting to assist in crafting a Strategic Vision and Marketing Plan for promotion of library services in Garfield County.  To learn more about this process, please read this week's article in the Post Independent.

Additional note:  The Carbondale, Glenwood Springs, New Castle, Rifle and Parachute branch libraries will be opening at noon on Friday, June 27, to allow as many employees as possible to participate in the Strategic Visioning process that morning. We apologize for the inconvenience of the morning closure, and ask for your understanding in our decision. The Silt Branch Library will be open normal hours that day, and can be reached at 970-876-5500.
