Investigating Ghostly Phenomena

Join Clarissa Vazquez, founder of the Colorado Coalition of Paranormal Investigators, and other CCPI technicians and investigators for a four-part series on investigating ghostly phenomena.

In session one (January 9), Clarissa and Technical Manager, Erik Mazur demonstrate the equipment paranormal researchers use to investigate reports of ghostly phenomena as well as the different classifications of ghosts.

In session two (January 16), Clarissa explains the different photographic and video techniques used by paranormal researchers, how to analyze the footage, how to debunk what is not paranormal, and the Great Orb Debate.

In session three (January 23), Clarissa and Investigator Robert Irwin demonstrate Electronic Voice Phenomena, how to capture it, and how to properly analyze the audio files. Explore compelling audio files collected by CCPI and the circumstances surrounding the collection of those clips.

In session four (January 30), Clarissa and Case Manager Susan Herwick go over the essential safety practices necessary when investigating paranormal phenomena and apply techniques learned in week 1 - 3 in a mock investigation of the library. Please note this last class will meet until 9:00 pm.

This series is free and open to all. For more information call the library at 970-963-2889.
