Thanks for reading this summer

Garfield County Libraries had 5,203 people register for Summer Reading, which marks only our second time with over 4,000 participants. Readers were asked to record how many days they read during the summer and report back to their library for prizes. We counted an astounded 72,070 days of reading in our six communities! In fact, the total amount read this year more than doubled the amount read just five summers ago.
