With the opening of our new facility in 2012, the Silt Branch Library is now able to offer study rooms, a large community room, a beautiful fireplace reading area, laptops, and of course many more books, movies, and other great resources which are free for members to use.

Tai Chi offers numerous benefits for mobility and health, including reduced pain, stiffness, stress, and depression, as well as improved blood circulation and muscle stamina. Join Laura Goodwin for the Garfield County Senior Program's weekly low-impact Tai Chi class at the library. Space is limited, so please register in advance. Bring your favorite board and card games to library for an evening of tabletop gaming! Meet other tabletop gamers in the area, learn a new game, or teach someone your favorite game.

Join us for a music and movement time with Mr. Paul! We’ll have fun dancing to the Hokey Pokey, Chicken Dance, and other healthy music for the heart, mind, body, and soul. Then feel free to stay and play at the library. Free and open to all small children and their accompanying adults.
Garfield County Libraries is pleased to partner once again with Meal Monkey to provide weekly free USDA-sponsored meals to youth. Please visit the Silt Branch Library on Fridays between 11:30 am and 1 pm to pick up a free meal in a grab-and-go fashion for youth 18 years or younger.
School-age kids are invited to join your friends at the Silt Branch Library to SPARK your imagination by building, creating, exploring, and inventing together!
