PAWS to Read

Practice reading in a fun, supportive environment with a four-legged friend! Therapy dogs from Heeling Partners of the Roaring Fork Valley will be at the library to listen, encourage, and enhance each young reader’s experience. There will be 15-minute time slots for readers (1st-8th grade), and advance registration is required. The library will have books kids can read, but it is preferred for readers to bring their own book to meet their reading level. For the well being of the dogs, only the readers will be allowed in the room with the dogs and specialists.
