Anna Marie Murphy in Concert

Join Anna Marie for an evening of popular jazzy tunes from 1930 to the present. Kicking off with an Anita O’Day- inspired version of Georgia on My Mind and ending with Miley Cyrus’ Flowers, Anna’s dynamic contralto voice is sure to please. As a child, Anna learned to love big band music from her maternal Grandmother who was a music teacher. As a lifelong feminist, Anna developed a perspective on songwriting that helped her hone in on egalitarian queues that may not be so obvious to the average ear.
