Visit the library this summer for our new Kids Book Club! Read and discuss books with friends your age for two club meetings this summer. Sign ups are open and participants between the ages of 9-12 are encouraged to join. All members will receive their own free copy of the books being read and are invited to the monthly meetings beginning in July to share delicious Peppino’s and an engaging discussion with their fellow readers. We can’t wait to see you there!

Book for July: The Canyon’s Edge by Dusti Bowling “Hatchet meets Long Way Down in this heartfelt and gripping novel in verse about a young girl’s struggle for survival after a climbing trip with her father goes terribly wrong.” This novel is written in verse so easy to get through for all types of readers in the 9-12 age range.
Graphic Novel for August: Amulet by Kazu Kibuishi The first book in Kazu Kibuishi’s #1 New York Times bestselling series that features a beautiful but dangerous world of new friends, giant robots, and shadowy enemies!
Book club meets on: Tuesday 7/23 and Tuesday 8/13 So for 7/23 it’ll be from 2-3 p.m. and then 8/13 at 12-1 p.m.
