Join Mateo Sandate to explore the book “The Music Lesson: A Spiritual Search for Growth through Music” by 5-time Grammy-winning musician Victor Wooten. Over the course of three weeks, we will read the book and discuss elements of music. Musicians and non-musicians are welcome. May this inspire the Music within you!
Free books will be given to the first five to register, and others can borrow copies from the library.
Mateo Sandate is a professional guitarist living in the Roaring Fork Valley. He studied Jazz Performance and holds multiple degrees from the University of North Texas. He is the founder of the Guitar Academy at Steve’s Guitars and a faculty instructor for Jazz Aspen and the Aspen Music Festival. You can find him playing with the band “Sweet Root!”
