At the age of 16, Hattie Thompson, the daughter of Carbondale’s first homesteader, moved from Missouri to Carbondale. Join Sue Gray from the Carbondale Historical Society as she tells Hattie’s story; her youth, her rise to prominence in the Roaring Fork and Crystal Valley society, and her life in the Thompson House (Museum) from 1888 to her death in 1944.
